Stockholm Finance v Garden Holdings [1995]

A pause in the occupation of (registered) residential land with length of 14 months destroyed any finding of actual occupation, preventing a beneficial interest holder from asserting that they had an interest in that land capable of overriding a purchaser by virtue of section 29 of the Land Registration Act 2002.
