R v Watson
- The defendant broke into the house of an 87-year-old man, when the man was present
- The man had a heart attack and died
- Was the defendant guilty of unlawful act manslaughter?
- On the facts, it could not be proved that the heart attack was caused by the defendant
- In principle, the act itself was dangerous and the frailty of the man would have been obvious
