- A property with registered title was purchased without good faith
- Could an unregistered interest override the purchaser’s interest?
- A lack of good faith may override registration
- This case is now to be treated as overruled
- The Law Commission assumed in 2001 that the case had been overruled, and it was severely criticised in Chaudhary v Yavuz
