Case 145/83 Adams v Commission [1985]

The number of claimants to a judicial review claims should not be relevant to its outcome. A successful non-contractual damages claim was made against the Commission where Adams confidentially assisted with evidence gathering for the Commission, and the Commission leaked Adams’ identity. The Commission’s whistle-blowing policy was breached.
